Where Strength Meets Opportunity
SEVI is a non-profit organization dedicated to championing the rights of visually impaired persons to participate in sports, access employment opportunities, and run sustainable businesses.
We promote, facilitate, and support all sporting and economic empowerment initiatives for the visually impaired.
Our work includes providing access to training, resources, and opportunities for those seeking employment or entrepreneurship. Where individuals are unable to secure employment but show potential for business, SEVI offers training, business planning support, and assistance with accessing financing.Â
We collaborate with grassroots organizations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, and Malawi. SMEVIP Kenya, a community-based organization, is our lead partner in Kenya, working closely with Blind Sports Kenya (KESAVI).

We envision inclusive communities where visually impaired persons can actively participate in sports, access meaningful employment, and start or grow businesses to achieve self-reliance.
